A simpler workflow
How Merge PDF works
- 1
Add two or more PDFs, or a single file you want to reorganise. Every file is read in your browser.
- 2
Drag documents into order, pick page ranges, rotate pages and set bookmarks, numbering or document details.
- 3
Merge, preview the finished file page by page, then download it with no watermark.
Made to stay out of your way
- Assembled on your device, so documents never leave your browser.
- Keep exact page ranges, rotate pages and add a bookmark per document.
- Preview the merged PDF page by page before you download it.
Frequently asked questions
Is Merge PDF free?
Yes. Merging, page selection, rotation, page numbers and bookmarks are free and unlimited, with no account required.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Each PDF is read and assembled inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and the merged file is created locally.
Can I merge only some pages?
Yes. Expand any document to keep a range like 1-3, 6, or use the odd and even shortcuts. Rotation is set per document as well.
Does it add a watermark?
No watermarks and no branding pages. The output contains only the pages you selected.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, so text, images and links stay exactly as they were. Optimize only restructures the file to trim overhead.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 25 MB per file, 12 files and 1,200 pages in total. These limits keep an on-device merge fast and reliable.
